nomnom face recipe.

So I'm super behind on pictures, I took them just haven't loaded yet. I'll catch up this weekend. But today I made a delicious thing and want to share the recipe.
Avocado egg salad. It's all super foods and all natural. Not necessarily low cal, (eggs and avocaco..) and ovbiouslly not vegan. Duh. But here's what I did:
Nomnom Face Salad recipe

1 ripe avocado
Plain fat free or low fat greek yogurt
Spinach
Celery
White onion
Hard boiled eggs
Salt
Pepper
Hot sauce (opt. )


In a food processor, 3-4 handfuls of spinach and 5 stalks of celery, 1/4 cup onion.
Process until finely chopped (not yet to a paste)

Put in bowl and set aside.

1 full avocado and 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt, process until creamy smooth.
Stir this mix into the spinach stuff.

Dice 6 hard boiled eggs and mix in. (I left mine pretty large chunks for texture)
Then add salt and pepper. I also did some hot sace to taste.

 This was just an idea I had today, sorry if I stole someone elses recipe, I'd never seen it. Also, I want to try adding tomatoes and water chesnuts and some other stuff, it definitely has potential to play with it. For me, it's gonna be a great protein and good fats filled pre workout breakfast on a lettuce cup or rice cake.
*Just a tip, dense foods like this are best early in the day, to keep you full and happy all day!
